RUSH Out Of Action With Torn Hamstring

Rush will miss ring-time after suffering injury

All Elite Wrestling star RUSH is set for a spell on the sidelines, after it emerged that he suffered an injury.

The former Ring of Honor World Champion tore his hamstring during the recent Continental Classic tournament, suffering the injury during his second match in the bracket, a singles win over Mar Briscoe on the November 29, 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite.

RUSH would continue to work through the injury, managing three more Gold League matches before competing in an eight-man tag match at Worlds End on December 30.

Taking to social media, ‘El Toro Blanco’ said the following about his condition: “In the #AEWContinentalClassic I tore my hamstring in the second match I had. I will recover and return ready and hungrier than ever for a fight. #LFI #AEWDynamite.”

RUSH returned to AEW TV in early November, after an absence of several months, with La Faccion Ingobernable leader wrestling two dates for Lucha Libre AAA as part of the TripleMania XXXI series in the Summer of 2023.

As of writing, there is no indication as to the severity of RUSH’s injury, nor is there any timetable for his return to in-ring competition.
