Sasha Banks Makes In-Ring Return Tonight On WWE Raw
After a near five-month absence...
An insider report from The Wrap says that Sasha Banks, after a long stretch of wrestling inactivity, will return to the ring on Monday's Raw from New Orleans.
Banks is said to be facing Natalya, per the report.
Banks made her return to the WWE scene two weeks ago, the night after SummerSlam in Toronto, by attacking Natalya while the latter was cutting an in-ring promo. During the assault, Banks revealed a new blue-haired look, and later attacked Becky Lynch when she tried to intervene.
Previously, Banks' last appearance (and match) with WWE came at WrestleMania 35 on April 7. There, she and Bayley lost the Women's Tag Team titles in a four-way match to The IIconics.
Banks went home after WrestleMania, and was reportedly unhappy (along with Bayley) at the apparently-abrupt decision to switch the belts less than two months after the pair won them. Stories at the time indicated that Banks and Bayley were under the belief that they were getting a long-term reign with the titles.
Reports emerged shortly after WrestleMania that Banks had asked for her release from the company.
