Sasha Banks Returning To WWE SmackDown This Week

On the September 4 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, The Golden Role Models failed to reclaim the Women's Tag Team Championship from Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. Bayley and Sasha Banks looked crestfallen after the match and the former Huggable One shocked the audience inside the ThunderDome as she suddenly turned on her best friend. The SmackDown Women's Champion then viciously beat down Banks and The Blueprint suffered a storyline bone bruise in her knee and compressed nerve in her neck as a result of the attack.

Bayley revealed why she attacked her former best friend on Friday. The Role Model explained she and Sasha were just pretending to be best friends, and in reality, they were just using one another to get to the top. The champion then said she never cared about Banks or their friendship and she attacked The Standard because she would have done the same thing at some point down the line. 

Michael Cole revealed during FOX's coverage of the NFL that Sasha will return to SmackDown this week to address Bayley's attack. When the two Superstars will meet inside the squared circle is currently unknown.
