Miro Praises Tony Khan, Says AEW Is "Destroying NXT"
Seems happy in his new home...
Only a few days have passed since Miro's AEW debut, but much buzz remains around the acquisition of the popular ex-WWE star. As for Miro himself, he's had nothing but positive things to say about his change of address.
In a video posted to his ToBeMiroTV channel, Miro offered high praise to AEW President Tony Khan, while casually letting the Wednesday night wrestling pecking order be known.
"I'm thankful to Tony Khan, we got in contact — he's such a good dude, he's such a great owner," Miro said. "He's very open to talk to with creative and ideas. He's around everybody, he's not hiding, none of that. His energy is great, he's just wants the best, man, and that's all it is.
"We all have the same agenda. We all want AEW to succeed. We are promoting ourselves, of course, but we all are in agreement AEW can do [great things]. I mean, we're already doing great, destroying NXT and all that."
Miro also embraces his new "Best Man" handle, as it's not just his designation for the Kip Sabian/Penelope Ford wedding, but his prevailing attitude going forward.
"They needed a best man and I feel like that's a great spot for me, but I'm not just 'a best man,' I am 'the best man,'", he asserts.
