Scott D'Amore Recently Spoke With Jeff Jarrett About TNA Rebrand

Scott D’Amore and Jeff Jarrett discussed TNA rebrand

IMPACT Wrestling’s decision to rebrand back to TNA Wrestling has received a wave of positive publicity, with the TNA name still holding weight with wrestling fans.

The name change will come into play at Hard to Kill on January 14 2024, and was officially announced by IMPACT/TNA President Scott D’Amore at the climax of Bound for Glory 2023. During a recent conversation with WhatCulture’s Simon Miller, D’Amore revealed he spoke with TNA founder Jeff Jarrett about the name change:

“I had an exchange with Jeff Jarrett about this the other day (IMPACT going back to TNA name). Actually, it was flying over here (to the U.K.) and I was messaging him back and forth and you know, I said, ‘We haven’t really talked about it but I just want you to know, this has our 100. This is getting everything we got because this is something you created and it’s something that means the world to me’ and we had a wonderful exchange about it. He was very supportive,” said D’Amore.

Jarrett founded NWA: TNA with his father Jerry in 2002.
