Scott D'Amore Unable To Sign With WWE, AEW Until Early 2025

No potential move to AEW or WWE for Scott D’Amore until early 2025

Since his firing from TNA Wrestling in early 2024, Scott D’Amore’s name has been linked with a move to either WWE or All Elite Wrestling, with D’Amore having supporters in both companies.

TNA star Rhino recently revealed that D’Amore is being paid by TNA owners Anthem through February 2025, and a follow-up report from PWInsider has confirmed Rhino’s statement, whilst adding that D’Amore has a no-compete clause in place preventing him from working with WWE, AEW, or any other major North American wrestling promotion until after February 2025.

AEW stars such as Deonna Purrazzo and Will Ospreay have advocated for D’Amore coming in, whilst the burgeoning WWE-TNA partnership was started when D’Amore was still running the promotion, with many former TNA stars working in backstage roles in WWE such as Abyss, Jeremy Borash, and D’Amore’s old Team Canada teammate Petey Williams.

D’Amore’s firing caused massive discontent within the TNA locker room in February, with TNA talents penning an open letter to Anthem, whilst Anthem themselves were willing to listen to disgruntled talents and potentially let them out of their contracts, although no major exits occurred.
