When Scott Steiner went solo and developed his Big Poppa Pump persona in the late 1990s, he completely changed up his look.

He swapped the singlets for trunks, dyed his facial hair and, curiously, began wearing a chainmail headpiece and sunglasses to the ring.

During a recent appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that the chainmail was discovered at a strip bar while he was out scouting outfits for his female valets to wear.

"Well, I had the two girls walk out with me, and I went to a strip bar to find them some nice, sexy lingerie stuff. So they could walk out with me. I saw the chainmail in a case. I thought, 'Sh*t I gotta have that', and I wore it ever since".

Steiner has previously outlined the reason behind his late-90s character change.

Not only is the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion's nephew Bron Breakker currently doing very well on WWE's main roster, but Scott's son Brock Rechsteiner has signed a WWE NIL deal.
