Sean Waltman Working With WWE ID

Sean Waltman (also known as X-Pac) has been in and around WWE off and on ever since he stepped away from the company full-time back in 2002. For instance, he has appeared in several DX or nWo reunions, signed a Legends deal in 2013, been inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame both as a member of the nWo and D-Generation X, and also notably appeared on the 2019 Hell In A Cell watchalong, where he openly criticised the booking of the main event. 

It seems as though Waltman has some more roles within WWE, as noted by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. It has been revealed that Waltman now works behind the scenes with the WWE ID program, which has brought in several names from the independent wrestling scene to carve them into WWE superstars. It is said that he is watching tapes and videos of the WWE ID talent, providing advice on where they need to improve, what they need to keep, and what they should remove from their repertoire. 

Sean Waltman recently spoke about AEW’s Kenny Omega, revealing that the former AEW World Champion helped when he was diagnosed with diverticulitis, as Omega has also undergone the same thing, which kept him out of the ring for over a year.
