Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch Feature In Joker Movie Parody Trailer For WWE WrestleMania 39

Seth Rollins calls back to The Joker for WWE WrestleMania 39

WWE have brought back a popular idea, with the company revealing their first movie parody trailer for WrestleMania 39 during the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on Saturday, February 18.

The parody saw Seth Rollins, dressed as The Joker, dancing down a copy of the famous stairs, similar to Joaquin Phoenix's version of the Clown Prince of Crime in 2019's Joker movie. When Rollins reached the bottom of the steps, he was stopped by "The Man" Becky Lynch, who proceeded to question her husband in a Christian Bale-esque gruff voice about why he was dancing.

Rollins told her it helped him get in the right head space, an answer which seemed to satisfy Lynch. The Man then announced she was going to the Man Cave, something Rollins didn't even know the couple had in their home.

Rumours in recent weeks have noted that WWE planned to revive the movie parody trailers to promote WrestleMania 39, which will take place at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California on April 1 and April 2. You can find out what else WWE have planned here.

WWE first aired movie parodies for WrestleMania 21 where the company spoofed Dirty Harry, Pulp Faction, Basic Instinct, Forrest Gump, Braveheart, and Gladiator among other movies.
