Several Matches Set for July 18 NXT
July 18 NXT has several matches confirmed
NXT have announced several matches and segments for the July 18 edition of NXT TV, as the WWE’s third brand gears up for the upcoming Great American Bash ‘premium live event’ at the end of the month
Heading into The Great American Bash, Mustafa Ali is set to officially challenge for the NXT North American Championship, but champion Wes Lee will have to get past Dominik Mysterio if he wants to head into GAB as champ, with the two set to clash for the strap next week.
Mysterio invaded NXT on July 11 with the rest of The Judgment Day, with Dom setting up the match after interrupting a backstage Lee promo. Dom said he accepted Lee’s open challenge, despite the champ saying he no longer offers those. Lee was gracious enough to accept though.
Elsewhere, Tony D’Angelo will have his official NXT homecoming celebration July 18, with Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo winning D’Angelo’s freedom after defeating Joe Coffey in singles action on July 11. Something tells me the issues between Gallus and D’Angelo are far from over.
Also confirmed for July 18 NXT, Dragon Lee & Nathan Frazier will take on Los Lotharios in tag action, whilst Gigi Dollin will take on Kiana James in singles action.
