Shawn Michaels not behind recent Stephanie McMahon tweet 'like'
Contrary to initial belief, Shawn Michaels did not, in fact, 'like' a WWE fan's tweet criticising Stephanie McMahon.
The tweet in question said:
"Why should he give the company to his daughter? It's his company and he built it. If he wants to cash out then let him. And Stephanie has hardly proved she can run the country. Just look at how she treated Dusty after he owned her in a promo or how she keeps claiming credit for women revolution."
According to Haus of Wrestling, it was actually somebody who helps run the Heartbreak Kid's social media accounts that liked the tweet (by accident).
Michaels is, of course, best friends with Stephanie's husband Paul 'Triple H' Levesque. Haus of Wrestling added that Michaels has a tonne of respect for the Billion Dollar Princess.
Despite currently being on the outs, WWE President Nick Khan has said the door is open for Stephanie should she wish to return. McMahon resigned from WWE in January after her father Vince forced his way back into the company.
