Shayna Baszler has turned on Ronda Rousey at WWE Money in the Bank!
Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler as a tag team is done.
The two friends defended the Women's Tag Team Championships against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez at Money in the Bank on July 1 and Ronda Rousey looked set to win the match by beating down Morgan but Baszler suddenly attacked her tag team partner from out of nowhere. Baszler then proceeded to choke out Rousey with the Kirifuda Clutch before she abandoned Ronda.
Morgan and Rodriguez picked up the win following a Chingona Bomb and Oblivion as they regained the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships they never lost.
Baszler and Rousey's reign ends at 33 days at Money in the Bank. They won the vacant belts on the May 29 edition of Monday Night Raw, unifying the belts with the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships a couple of weeks later by defeating Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn.
Shayna Baszler vs. Ronda Rousey is clearly on the horizon. WWE's next pay-per-view will take place on Saturday, August 5 with SummerSlam.
