Shelton Benjamin Out With An Injury

Shelton Benjamin is on the shelf

WWE's Shelton Benjamin has announced he is out of action with an injury, noting it is only the second time he has been on the shelf in his career.

"For only the second time In my career An injury has put me on the shelf. I'll be back soon. In the meantime I will be putting in the work to come back better than I was before my little setback. See you guys soon!" Benjamin tweeted.

When exactly the 46-year-old will be back on WWE TV is currently unknown. Benjamin had been featured on WWE TV as one-half of The Hurt Business with tag team partner Cedric Alexander prior to his injury.

The former Intercontinental Champion last wrestled at the April 25 Main Event taping when he and Alexander lost to The Street Profits. He hasn't appeared on TV since the go-home edition of SmackDown before WrestleMania 38 when he was a participant in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. That match was won by Madcap Moss.
