Shotzi Receiving 'Overwhelming' Interest Ahead Of WWE Contract Expiry

Shotzi is set to exit WWE at the expiration of her contract, with the NXT star receiving 'overwhelming interest' as she prepares to enter free agency.

The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion will be a free agent from July, and revealed to Busted Open Radio that she has been inundated with offers from across the pro-wrestling world:

“It’s been so overwhelming,” Shotzi admitted. “I have just been glued to my phone the last few days, like, just answering emails and just trying to get bookings straight.”

Shotzi continued: “But, yeah, just completely overwhelming, but also eye-opening and really exciting,”

Shotzi is reportedly set to appear for Major League Wrestling, with a teaser at MLW's Azteca Lucha event showing a tank with the message that ‘the warning SHOTZ will be fired’ at MLW Summer of the Beasts in New York City on June 26. It’s believed Shotzi’s MLW appearances will be part of a renewed focus by the brand on its women’s division.

Formerly known as Shotzi Blackheart, Shotzi has been with WWE since 2019, primarily competing in NXT, although her run has been hampered by several long term injuries.
