Son Of Former WWE Star Rick Steiner Open To Wrestling Career

After signing with the Baltimore Ravens...

Rick Steiner carved out a legendary career for himself in professional wrestling alongside his brother Scott. The Steiner Brothers are considered one of the best tag teams in the history of wrestling and they won gold in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, WWE, and WCW.

Steiner's son, Bronson Reichsteiner, is pursuing his own career in professional sports as he recently signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent. This came after an impressive senior year at Kennesaw State as he ended the season with seven rushing touchdowns and averaged 8.1 yards per carry.

The new Ravens signing's future in the NFL is unclear, however. The AFC North Champions already have a Pro Bowl fullback in Patrick Ricard and teams rarely have two fullbacks on the 53-man roster.

During a recent interview with Justin Barrasso at Sports Illustrated, Reichsteiner admitted he was open to a career in professional wrestling if his stint in the NFL didn't work out.

Reichsteiner said: "I'm open to it, but I know wrestling will always be there for me. It's always been my dream to carry the family's legacy in professional sports and I'm staying focused on taking football as far as I can."
