Sopranos Star Booked For Indy Promotion
Indy promotion set to feature a star of The Sopranos
You never know just who is going to appear at an independent wrestling show, and for ISPW in New Jersey, they’ve coaxed one of the stars of beloved HBO drama 'The Sopranos' to appear at an upcoming show.
ISPW are holding their Golden Ticket Rumble on March 22, with Will Janowitz set to be the guest General Manager for the show. Janowitz portrayed Finn DeTrolio in The Sopranos, the one-time fiancé of Meadow Soprano.
Whether Janowitz will get physical and whack someone remains to be seen, and he’ll certainly have his hands full with the card also set to feature the likes of Lady Frost, Kayla Sparks, and many others. Janowitz will surely want to contact Coronation Street’s Bruce Jones for advice, with ‘Les Battersby’ becoming a fixture on the UK indy scene.
What other HBO characters would fit in the world of pro-wrestling? Deadwood’s Al Swearengen would be a shoo-in for an alliance with Jon Moxley, The Wire’s Stringer Bell could be a top choice for a world title run somewhere, whilst Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Larry David could… well, Larry David doing anything involved with pro-wrestling would be amazing.
