Spoiler: Another NJPW Name To Appear At IMPACT Bound For Glory

A big NJPW star will be at Bound For Glory 2023

IMPACT Wrestling held tapings last night for new episodes of their weekly TV, and there some quite significant developments with Bound For Glory 2023 implications. The PPV is set to take place next month on October 23rd, and there have been some new additions to the card.

Per PWInsider, NJPW star and Bullet Club member Kenta will be appearing at Bound for Glory in a match, though no opponent has been announced for him yet. He has appeared sporadically in IMPACT Wrestling throughout 2023, challenging for the IMPACT World Title, and also appearing on the Multiverse United shows, co-promoted by IMPACT and NJPW.

A major title match has also been revealed as the reigning IMPACT Knockouts Champion Trinity will defend against the newly returned Mickie James, who made her comeback at IMPACT 1000. James was forced to relinquish the belt a few months back following her injury.

The updated card for Bound For Glory looks like this;

  • Alex Shelley (c) vs. Josh Alexander - IMPACT World Championship
  • Trinity (c) vs. Mickie James - IMPACT Knockouts World Championship
  • Will Ospreay vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey
  • Kenta vs. ???
