SPOILER On Major Legends Planned For WWE WrestleMania 40

Three major legends planned for WWE WrestleMania 40

WWE are reportedly planning to bring in multiple legends for appearances at WrestleMania 40.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the belief within WWE is that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and John Cena will be involved at WrestleMania 40 in some form. There is not believed to be any creative locked in for John Cena and Steve Austin at the moment unless WWE are keeping it a closely guarded secret.

What exactly each of the legends will do at WrestleMania reportedly comes down to "how much they are willing to do and money." Cena has been expected to appear at WrestleMania, especially after he revealed he was free on April 6 and April 7.

Steve Austin last appeared at WrestleMania 38 when he hit Vince McMahon with the worst stunner in the history of stunners. Austin came out of retirement one night earlier and defeated Kevin Owens. The Undertaker, meanwhile, last appeared on WWE programming for the October 10, 2023 episode of NXT that went head-to-head with AEW Dynamite.

John Cena finished up a mini full-time run in WWE at Crown Jewel in November 2023 with a loss to Solo Sikoa.
