(SPOILER) Update On Becky Lynch's Segment For Tonight's WWE Raw

Read on if you want to know...

It was announced earlier on Monday that Raw Women's champion Becky Lynch would make a "major announcement" on tonight's Raw. Initially, Lynch's involvement on tonight's show was to have a confrontation with women's Money in the Bank briefcase winner Asuka.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that for Lynch's segment tonight, she is going to surrender the Women's title to Asuka, his report claiming three different sources.

The segment was reportedly taped earlier today. Although Johnson claims that PWInsider has been told the impetus for Lynch handing over the championship, they are choosing not to reveal that reason, allowing for Lynch's announcement to be the first public acknowledgement of why.

Assuming this is all true, Lynch's Raw Women's title reign ends at a record 400 days, having won the title at WrestleMania 35 on April 7 of last year. Lynch also won the SmackDown Women's title in that same match, holding it for six weeks.

Lynch's lone reign with the Raw Women's championship is longer than anyone else's combined reigns with the same belt, including four-time champions Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks.
