Stephanie McMahon Appears At WWE WrestleMania 40

Stephanie McMahon makes a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 40

Stephanie McMahon made an unadvertised appearance at WWE WrestleMania 40 on Sunday night in Philadelphia.

McMahon appeared at the top of the main pay-per-view broadcast, entering to a remixed version of her theme song. In her remarks to the crowd, she noted that she attended the very first WrestleMania when she was eight years old, and has been at every single one since then.

McMahon also called WrestleMania 40 the very one of the Paul Levesque era, before asking the crowd if they were ready.

McMahon resigned from WWE in the early days of 2023, shortly after father Vince returned as part of the company's board of directors. She served as WWE's chairwoman, as well as co-CEO with Nick Khan, after Vince's initial step-down in the summer of 2022 (though she had actually temporarily stepped away from WWE prior to the shake-up).

McMahon wrestled at only one WrestleMania match in her career, teaming with Triple H in a loss to Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 34 in 2018. That was Stephanie's most recent match.
