Steve Austin Addresses Possibly Having One More WWE Match

Will we ever see Stone Cold in a WWE ring again?

Last night's season premiere of A&E's Biography: WWE Legends focused on Steve Austin's 2022 return to main event WrestleMania 38 opposite Kevin Owens.

At the end of the programme, the producer interviewing Austin asked him about the possibility of coming back for another match, to which the WWE Hall of Famer replied:

"I walked away. I'm happy with what I did. There's people who have done more or lasted longer. I had a pretty good run and I'm pretty happy with it. So, I ain't got nothing to prove to nobody"

Earlier this year, however, Stone Cold didn't rule out having a WWE dream match with CM Punk, noting that he hadn't expected to come out of retirement and headline another WrestleMania at the age of 57.

As of December, Austin hadn't been approached about a match with the Straight-Edge Superstar.

WWE planned for Austin to be involved in this year's WrestleMania main event between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. However, the two sides couldn't come to an agreement and Austin's spot was instead given to The Undertaker (according to The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer).
