Stipulation Match Added To WWE NXT No Mercy

Stipulation match is set for WWE NXT No Mercy

A stipulation match has been announced for the upcoming NXT No Mercy special on September 30.

It was revealed during Tuesday night's edition of WWE NXT that Becky Lynch will defend the NXT Women's Championship against Tiffany Stratton in an Extreme Rules Match.

Becky Lynch opened this week's WWE NXT before she was quickly interrupted by Tiffany Stratton, who challenged her to a rematch at No Mercy. Lynch accepted the challenge and set up the main event of NXT which saw Lynch and Lyra Valkyria pick up a win over Stratton and Kiana James. Stratton attacked Lynch with a steel chair following the match and she posed with the NXT Women's Title while Lynch was down. Upon recovering, Lynch demanded their match at No Mercy be an Extreme Rules Match and the clash was made official.

Lynch and Statton have been in a programme for the past several weeks. Lynch defeated Stratton on September 12 to become the new NXT Women's Champion.

Other matches already official for NXT No Mercy include Carmelo Hayes vs. Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship, Dominik Mysterio vs. Mustafa Ali for the NXT North American Title, and Bron Breakker vs. Baron Corbin.
