Stone Cold Steve Austin Addresses His WWE WrestleMania 39 Status

Steve Austin on his WrestleMania 39 status

WrestleMania 39 is less than two weeks away and Stone Cold Steve Austin has addressed his status for the Showcase of the Immortals, which will emanate from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2.

Austin told The Wrestling Classic:

"I haven't heard anything. We're literally, as we speak right now, about two weeks away and it's the biggest show of the year. Right now, I think, WWE has got as good a roster as they've had since the Attitude Era. They got a deep roster, so I think many guys and gals need those coveted spots. They got plenty of names to draw from, plenty of talent to draw from. I think they should shine the light and the cameras on their current superstars."

Austin then stated it was "to be determined" if he would be at WrestleMania.

According to reports, Austin has been provided with plenty of pitches for the Show of Shows. He reportedly turned down a match with Brock Lesnar and the WWE Hall of Famer didn't respond when the company offered him a lot more money for a clash with Roman Reigns.

As of last word, Austin had been pitched a match with LA Knight. If The Texas Rattlesnake accepted the offer is unknown.
