Tatum Paxley may soon be heading to the main roster, based on her actions after Tuesday night's episode of WWE NXT went off the air.

Paxley dropped the NXT Women's North American Championship to Zaria in the main event of NXT, with Zaria picking up the win following an F5 to the floor followed by a spear and another F5 back inside the ring. Zaria's victory ended Paxley's title reign after 94 days, having been champion since defeating Izzi Dame at Vengeance Day back in March.

After the show, Paxley said goodbye to NXT, which included hugging fans in the crowd at the WWE Performance Center. It has not been confirmed if Paxley will be heading to the WWE main roster, but a wrestler bidding farewell to NXT often happens when a talent is finishing up on the Tuesday night show ahead of a switch to Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown.

A report from BodySlam+ in May noted there were expected to be additional NXT call-ups during the summer of 2026 and the names being discussed within the company were from the NXT women's division. One of those names was reportedly Nikkita Lyons, but the expectation is she will remain on NXT and EVOLVE for the foreseeable future.

Tatum Paxley has been a part of WWE since 2021, transitioning to pro wrestling after being a successful powerlifter. She made her TV debut in 2022 and, in addition to her NXT Women's North American Title reign, Paxley held the NXT Women's Championship for 24 days in 2025.
