Tessa Blanchard will be a regular presence in an independent wrestling promotion.

Xtreme Pro Wrestling have announced that Tessa Blanchard has signed a multi-show deal with the company and she will make her XPW debut at Broken, Beat & Scarred on Saturday, May 27. The event will take place at The Heart Ball Room in Newark, New Jersey.

Blanchard has competed sporadically on the independent wrestling scene since the summer of 2022 but she has not been a part of a major promotion since she was fired by IMPACT Wrestling in the summer of 2020. She was set to be the top star of WOW - Women of Wrestling but their relationship fell apart before Blanchard could appear on-screen for the company.

Blanchard was previously accused of bullying and using a racial slur towards a black talent. There is reportedly no interest in the former IMPACT World Champion from All Elite Wrestling and WWE are unlikely to make a move for Blanchard as the perception that she is difficult to work with remains, in addition to the allegations against her.

XPW recently made headlines for all the wrong reasons after Masada set himself on fire during their show on April 22. Find out more here.
