The Elite Defeat The Blackpool Combat Club In AEW Blood & Guts III

The Elite have won their AEW Blood & Guts match against Blackpool Combat Club

A rivalry so personal and so violent could only come down to this, as The Golden Elite and The Blackpool Combat Club clashed in the third ever Blood & Guts match in All Elite Wrestling History.

A wild blood spattered ten man brawl that featured broken glass, a bed of nails, and a lot of dissension in the ranks, Blood & Guts III looks to be the final chapter in The Elite and The BCCs war… for now.

The match started with Kenny Omega and ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli, before BCC affiliate PAC entered to administer a two-on-one beat down on his old rival Omega. Hangman Page was next in for The Elite, followed by Jon Moxley who went all Abdullah the Butcher on The Elite with a fork. Nick Jackson was in next, dumping Claudio into broken glass, with Wheeler Yuta and Matt Jackson in next. Konosuke Takeshita followed chair in hand, then it was then time for Kota Ibushi to make his way to the ring and go almost full ‘Murder Ibushi’ mode on Jon Moxley.

Matt Jackson and Wheeler made their way to the roof of the cage, Jackson hitting Yuta with a series of Northern Lights Suplexes on top of the structure. With all ten men in the ring, thumbtacks were introduced to the fray - Claudio and PAC getting dumped into them. PAC and Castagnoli then had a breakdown in communications, with ‘The Bastard’ walking out of the match after receiving an 'accidental' European Uppercut from Claudio. The Elite now had a five-on-four advantage, and seeing how the tables had turned, Don Callis whisked Takeshita out of the match to leave it five-on-three, with Hangman Page getting the win by choking Yuta out with a chain.

After Dynamite went off the air, Kenny Omega took the mic to tell The BCC that they have The Elite’s respect, with the two teams shaking hands and seemingly ending all hostilities for the time being.
