The Rock Comments On Joining TKO Board Of Directors

The Rock reacts to his TKO appointment

The Rock has reflected on his appointment to the TKO Board of Directors, describing it as a "life comes full circle" moment.

"My honor to join @TKOGrp Board of Directors (parent co who owns @WWE @UFC). An historic day of big business with deep and personal 'life comes full circle' significance for me. I have the privilege now to sit at the table, that my grandfather and my dad helped to build. Now the fun part - we go to work. We build. Thanks to all you guys out there for your support and hype. And thank you to my TKO/WWE partners - Ari Emmanuel, Mark Shapiro, Nick Khan, Paul 'Triple H' Levesque," The Rock wrote on X

The Rock also posted a video of himself and TKO executives at the New York Stock Exchange to ring the opening bell. Vince McMahon was present at the ceremony last week but he was absent from any of The Rock's footage, likely due to the sex trafficking lawsuit filed against him and McMahon's subsequent resignation as TKO Executive Chairman.

As part of the deal between Dwayne Johnson and TKO, the Hollywood star was gifted ownership of "The Rock" name. His new role reportedly provides The Rock with plenty of power

The Rock has also teased a match with Roman Reigns at WWE Raw Day 1 and in subsequent interviews. The match is reportedly scheduled to take place, although it may not be at WrestleMania following Cody Rhodes' Royal Rumble win.
