The Usos Opens Up About Infamous "Ucey" Segment

The Uso's Have Spoken About Breaking Character During The Infamous "Ucey" Segment

Back in late 2022, The Bloodline had one of the most infamous and watched segments of the entire year. Sami Zayn’s “Ucey” line caused everyone involved to break character, resulting in one of the funniest moments in recent memory. The Uso's opened up on the Masked Man Show at WaleMania about not only this segment, but the quality of Sami Zayn as a performer too.

Jey: “Low key, Sami Zayn is one of the dopest performers in wrestling. He has a mind, half the promos, he's like, 'Uce, say this, cut me hard. You have to cut me.' He's coaching me, coaching all of us. He's been in the business longer than us. Having him in the Bloodline, it put a good wrinkle in there to where it made it fresh. We liked that, every week, coming to work. 'What did we do last week? What do y'all want to do this week?'”

Jimmy: “It broke up the vibe in the Bloodline. If you see us, we just kick your ass. It's four Samoans that kick your ass. He came in and he threw a wrench into it, where you could see Roman actually crack.”

Jey: “On national TV, I'm laughing. There was a point where I was like, 'I feel unprofessional because I keep laughing every week,' but I can't help it. They're shooting it live. Whatever happens is going to happen.”

Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens managed to overcome The Uso's to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 39, closing a chapter on what has been one of the best storylines of the modern era.
