The Young Bucks To Get New AEW Theme Music?

Could Tony Khan be opening up his wallet again?

We all have our favourite wrestling entrance themes, and now it appears that AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks could be about to receive new theme music of their own.

The latest episode of Being The Elite showed footage from the AEW House Always Wins live event over WrestleMania weekend. Before The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Michael Nakazawa, and Konosuke Takeshita took on Death Triangle and The Sydal Brothers, Matt Jackson said to the BTE camera backstage:

“In a perfect world we’d be coming out to [Carry On] Wayward Son by Kansas, but we couldn’t get it done tonight.”

Now, given The Young Bucks’ characters and the blurring of kayfabe and reality on BTE, there’s no telling if this new theme is going to happen, or if it was just a little throwaway joke by Matt Jackson. Nor is it clear if the theme would have been only for the live event, or would be The Young Bucks’ theme music in AEW going forward.

However, with Tony Khan recently acquiring the rights for Baltimora’s Tarzan Boy for Jungle Boy, and Pixies’ Where Is My Mind? for Orange Cassidy, a deal to license Kansas’ soft rock classic for The Bucks isn’t beyond the realms of possibility.
