Three Matches Set For NJPW STRONG Road To Collision

A huge eight-man elimination match set for the main event, and also the return of El Phantasmo

New Japan have announced three matches for the upcoming Road to Collision edition of NJPW STRONG, set to air Friday May 14.

After appearing on IMPACT Wrestling last week, El Phantasmo will be in action on STRONG for the first time since February 2021, where ELP will be teaming with Bullet Club team-mate Hikuleo against the team of Fred Lio Rush and Rosser.

Elsewhere, Rocky Romero will kick-off the show, taking on the debuting AJZ. The 22 year old AJZ has mainly wrestled for OVW since debuting in 2019.

Also slated for STRONG is a massive eight-man tag elimination match, pitting Tom Lawlor, Chris Dickinson, JR Kratos & Danny Limelight against Karl Fredericks, Brody King, TJP & Clark Connors. Eliminations can occur via pinfall, submission, DQ, or over the top rope with both feet hitting the floor, a la the Royal Rumble.

Here’s the full line-up for NJPW STRONG:
• Karl Fredericks, Brody King, TJP & Clark Connors vs. Tom Lawlor, Chris Dickinson, JR Kratos & Danny Limelight - Elimination Match
• Bullet Club (El Phantasmo & Hikuleo) vs. Lio Rush & Fred Rosser
• Rocky Romero vs. AJZ
