Title Match Official For WWE NXT No Mercy

Dominik Mysterio will put the NXT North American Championship on the line later this month.

NXT will hold their No Mercy special on September 30 and Mustafa Ali earned a shot at the North American Title on Tuesday night's edition of NXT, defeating Dragon Lee in a number one contender's match. Dominik Mysterio was the special guest referee for the match and he effectively handed Mustafa Ali the victory following a fast count when Ali rolled up Lee. 

Mustafa Ali laid out Dominik Mysterio after the match as he didn't want to win that way. He and Dragon Lee then left the ring together as Mysterio recovered from the shot to the face. 

Dominik has been NXT North American Champion since he defeated Wes Lee for the gold on July 18. He has so far defended the belt against the likes of Butch, Sami Zayn, and Dragon Lee. 

Carmelo Hayes will also defend the NXT Championship at No Mercy against either Ilja Dragunov or Wes Lee. The challenger will be determined in a number one contender's match on next week's episode of NXT.
