TNA Wrestling may soon add a new championship to the promotion's list of titles.

Fightful Select has reported that a new title has been pitched and may be coming to TNA TV in the near future, with the idea being that it will be some form of mid-card Knockouts championship.

There is no word on what the title belt will be named. An announcement about the belt may happen soon, but that could change following the turnover in TNA creative which saw Tommy Dreamer and TNA part ways. Creative is now headed by Hunter "Delirious" Johnston and Eric Tompkins, but Road Dogg is expected to be in attendance at Slammiversary and he may also join the creative team. Fightful did note that a women's tournament of some sort was planned for July.

Dave Meltzer has reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the new belt will be announced by the end of the week and it will be a TV title for the Knockouts division.

"The story is they're going to announce it by the end of the week, probably at the pay-per-view. But yes, TNA Women’s TV Title. That’s something else for Slammiversary, that announcement, or something of that nature. I was told Women’s TV Championship," Meltzer said.

TNA Wrestling already have two titles in the Knockouts division with the TNA Knockouts World Championship held by Lei Ying Lee and the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Titles held by The Elegance Brand. TNA's other belts include the TNA World Championship, TNA International Title, TNA World Tag Team Titles, and TNA X-Division Championship.

Several mid-card women's titles have been created in recent years, with All Elite Wrestling introducing the TBS Championship in 2021. WWE created the Women's Intercontinental Title and Women's United States Championship in 2024.
