TNA Wrestling is currently in turmoil following the firing of Scott D'Amore by Anthem Head Len Asper. D'Amore has been replaced by Anthony Cicione as TNA President but TNA talent have reacted angrily to D'Amore's firing, sending a letter to Anthem to express their frustration. Many talents are looking to the upcoming TNA tapings in New Orleans to see how the situation will be addressed.

D'Amore's firing reportedly came about due to Anthem's reluctance to spend on expanding TNA. D'Amore offered to buy TNA from Anthem after he became aware of his impending firing but Anthem rejected the deal on the table.
