Slammiversary 2024 on July 20 was a very good night on pay-per-view for TNA Wrestling.

Dave Meltzer has reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Slammiversary 2024 drew an estimated 21,000 pay-per-view buys, which is one of the biggest pay-per-views since TNA IMPACT was cancelled on Spike in 2014. Slammiversary 2024 is only behind Rebellion 2021 which featured a Title vs. Title main event between Kenny Omega and Rich Swann, and TNA Hard To Kill 2024 which was the first show since the return to the TNA name which drew an estimated 66,000 buys.

Compared to Rebellion 2024, Slammiversary's pay-per-view buys are up 114.7 per cent at the same number of days after the show, according to Meltzer. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter credits the Slammiversary buyrate to the ongoing crossover between TNA and WWE NXT.

WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling have been working together on a full-time basis since May and the likes of Jordynne Grace, Charlie Dempsey, Riley Osborne, Joe Hendry, and The Rascalz have moved between the two promotions.

Headline moments at Slammiversary included Nic Nemeth winning the TNA World Title, Josh Alexander turning heel, and Mike Bailey capturing the X-Division Championship in his hometown.
