Tony D'Angelo 'Arrested' On WWE NXT

Tony D'Angelo may need to reach out to Dominik Mysterio for some advice as The Don of NXT was arrested during the May 23 edition of NXT.

D'Angelo was taken in for questioning by police last week after his name appeared in multiple criminal investigations. Footage of D'Angelo being interrogated was then shown throughout the May 23 episode of NXT and after D'Angelo didn't give anything away, he asked officers if he was allowed to leave. The officers interrogating him said D'Angelo was not allowed to leave police custody and he was subsequently told to get up. D'Angelo was then handcuffed and led out of the interrogation room.

What charges have been filed against D'Angelo is currently unknown.

The NXT talent has been linked to criminal activities since he made his WWE debut all the way back in 2021. He hinted at connections to the mafia during his debut vignettes and D'Angelo has since sent Pretty Deadly and Troy "Two Dimes" Donovan to "sleep with the fishes". Within NXT canon, all three men are seemingly deceased.
