Tony Khan Addresses If AEW Are Interested In Signing Becky Lynch

With the news that Becky Lynch’s WWE deal is set to expire in the coming days, speculation has instantly turned to ‘The Man’s future, with some wondering if Lynch could swap WWE for All Elite Wrestling.

AEW President Tony Khan has vowed that he will continue to court the biggest free agents on the market, but when appearing on The Rich Eisen Show, Khan said the following when asked about more free agents coming in to AEW:

“I don't want to try to tamper and do those things. I try to keep it classy and I really have a reputation for honesty and I really want to be a fair businessman. The wrestling business is a really cutthroat business,” said Khan with Eisen then mentioning Lynch by name, Khan replying "You invoked the tampering word.”

As Lynch is still currently under contract with WWE - and considering AEW’s past accusations at WWE over contract tampering - Khan was careful not to say anything regarding Lynch, other than he thinks that the multi-time women’s world champion is a “great star”.

Lynch’s deal expires on June 1 should the two sides not come to terms on a new deal.
