Tony Khan had some fun on social media on Tuesday night.

The majority view is that All Elite Wrestling have had a strong start to 2024 and the promotion had a good couple of days in the ratings last week. The February 9 edition of AEW Rampage averaged 456,000 total viewers and a 0.14 rating in the key 18-49 demographic on TNT in the United States to draw Rampage's best total viewership since October 2023. The February 10 edition of AEW Collision then performed well, averaging 491,000 total viewers and a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demo. This was Collision's best total viewership since October 21, 2023.

Tony Khan celebrated AEW's ratings success on Tuesday night, while also joking the promotion must have performed well as the fast nationals for AEW weren't reported by journalists perceived to be close to WWE.

"Thank you all who watch @AEW! This past weekend was our best ratings on TNT in months: the most viewers for Saturday Night #AEWCollision since October, + most viewers for Friday Night #AEWRampage since last April! We'll see you on TBS for Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite TOMORROW! I was wondering all weekend, where are the Fast Nationals? Now we know," Khan tweeted.

WWE have reportedly been leaking the fast nationals for AEW shows to news outlets since 2021, often when All Elite Wrestling have a bad week in the ratings. Fast national ratings emerge ahead of a final rating from Nielsen and are typically lower than the final viewership figure.

Tony Khan recently revealed why he tweets so much.
