Tony Khan Takes Another Shot At Vince McMahon

Tony Khan has it in for Vince McMahon this week

When you're in a wrestling war, the prevailing belief is that you should always punch up and that is certainly what Tony Khan has been doing in recent days.

AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday went head-to-head with WWE NXT on Tuesday night, with both promotions loading up their respective shows, especially WWE who drafted in the likes of The Undertaker, John Cena, and Cody Rhodes for the event at the Performance Center.

Tony Khan was certainly feisty in the build up the Tuesday Night War as after a user claimed AEW fans would complain on social media if Vince McMahon tweeted a GIF of Roderick Strong spinning and saying "Who gives a f**k?", Khan fired back with: "If Sir Vince McMahon said this, it would be the least of his alleged misdeeds. #AEWTitleTuesday on TBS Tuesday #AEWDynamiteTonight!"

Khan then referred to McMahon's "alleged misdeeds" in interviews ahead of Dynamite and he has continued to do so since the head-to-head battle ended. After one user on Twitter said Vince McMahon "has the power and influence" to take cheap shots, Khan simply wrote back: "Yes. Vince has allegedly used his power and influence to shoot a lot of shots."

Khan is referring to the hush money and sexual misconduct allegations against Vince McMahon, for which he is currently under investigation by the United States Government. McMahon allegedly paid at least $14.6 million to multiple women between 2006 and 2022 to suppress allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity. He also paid $5 million to the Donald Trump Foundation in relation to Trump's appearances on WWE TV in 2007 and 2009.

McMahon is under investigation as the payments went unrecorded in WWE's annual expenses.

In addition to taking shots at Vince McMahon, Khan made sure to call Triple H and Shawn Michaels "bald asshole" ahead of Tuesday's shows.

AEW Dynamite was handily defeated in the ratings battle by WWE NXT
