Top Free Agent To Debut At TNA Hard To Kill

TNA Hard To Kill to feature a top free agent

One of the top free agents in professional wrestling is heading to TNA for at least one night.

TNA Wrestling have announced that former IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander will take on Alex Hammerstone at the promotion's Hard To Kill pay-per-view on January 13. The match will be Hammerstone's TNA Wrestling debut. There is no word on if Hammerstone has signed a deal with TNA as of yet.

Hammerstone had been a part of Major League Wrestling from 2019 until he departed the promotion at the end of 2023. He was one of MLW's top stars during his time with the company, holding the MLW World Heavyweight Championship for 644 days between October 2021 and July 2023.

Following his MLW exit, Hammerstone issued an open challenge so he could prove he wasn't a big fish in a small pond. Josh Alexander accepted the open challenge soon after.

Hard To Kill will be the promotion's first show as TNA Wrestling since 2017. Headline matches include a TNA World Title match between Alex Shelley and Moose, Trinity vs. Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts World Championship, and a Knockouts Ultimate X Match. One of the biggest signings in TNA history will also appear at Hard To Kill.
