Triple H To Make 'Major Announcement' On WWE Preview Special

Paul "Triple H" Levesque will channel his inner Tony Khan later this week.

The WWE Chief Content Officer will make a "major announcement" on the WWE Preview Special 2024 that is set to air on Thursday, January 4 on Peacock in the United States. The show will stream on Peacock at 8 pm ET.

Announced for the WWE Preview Special is a special appearance by CM Punk. Also advertised for the show is Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley, NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov, Bianca Belair, and Montez Ford of the Street Profits.

The WWE Preview Special 2024 is part of New Year's Knockout Week that is also comprised of Raw Day 1, NXT New Year's Evil, a Best of 2023 edition of The Bump, and SmackDown New Year's Revolution on Friday.

There is no word on what the major announcement will be but The Rock did return on Raw Day 1 and a match between the Brahma Bull and Roman Reigns may well be the direction for Elimination Chamber or WrestleMania 40. The Rock was revealed to be Triple H's former WWE Champion appearing on Day 1 and The Rock hinted he might eat at the Head of the Table, a clear tease for a match with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
