Triple Main Event Set For AEW: Dark Elevation
AEW’s newest YouTube show debuted last week
AEW has announced a ‘triple main event’ for tonight’s edition of AEW Dark: Elevation.
Ethan Page is set to take on The Dark Order’s Alan ‘5’ Angels, in what will be Page’s second solo outing for AEW. Having debuted at AEW: Revolution in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match, Page got his first win on AEW: Dynamite, defeating Lee Johnson on March 10.
Elsewhere, Leyla Hirsch will face Ryo Mizunami. Hirsch recently signed full-time with AEW, and will be looking for her fourth straight win. Mizunami’s status with AEW is unknown, having won the AEW Women’s World Title Eliminator Tournament, before unsuccessfully challenging AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida at Revolution.
The third big match hyped for tonight will see Orange Cassidy take on Ryan Nemeth. This will be Cassidy’s first solo outing since mid February, although all focus will be on his upcoming tag match with Chuck Taylor against Miro and Kip Sabian.
Also set for Dark: Elevation, The Varsity Blonds will face Fuego Del Sol and Jake St. Patrick, and Red Velvet & Big Swole will team against Leva Bates & Madi Wrenkowski. Red Velvet will also be the focus of this week’s ‘rising star’ segment.
The Wrestling Observer have also noted that while not officially confirmed, the following matches are believed to also be taking place; Ricky Starks & Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs, Max Caster vs. RYZIN, Danny Limelight vs. Baron Black, Tay Conti vs. Ray Lyn, and Lee Johnson vs. Adam Priest.
