Trish Stratus Addresses Her Match Being Pulled From WWE SummerSlam

Stratus has commented on her match with Lynch being left off the SummerSlam card.

All signs seemed to point towards Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch settling the score at SummerSlam.

After feuding for several months, most assumed the WWE Hall of Famer and The Man would clash at the Biggest Party of the Summer, but their grudge match was ultimately left off the card.

The two instead clashed on the August 14 episode of Raw. After that match ended in a double disqualification, a rematch inside a steel cage was booked for Payback this coming Saturday.

Addressing the SummerSlam snub in an interview with the New York Post, Stratus said:

"At the end of the day, as long as we deliver, as long as we leave the fans entertained, satisfied, Stratus-fied that's what my goal is to come here and do the things we never got to do, show them something they've never see before".

It was previously reported that Trish and Becky were less than thrilled over their match being pulled from SummerSlam.

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul 'Triple H' Levesque had claimed that it was done to give them a bigger spotlight on other shows.
