Two Matches Announced For WWE NXT TakeOver: XXV
Gargano, Cole, Baszler and Shirai in action...
NXT's next TakeOver special, XXV, will be taking place in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Saturday, June 1 and the two top matches for the show have been confirmed.
NXT supremo Triple H tweeted out a short promo clip confirming Johnny Gargano will be defending his NXT Championship against Adam Cole, who is, of course, the man Johnny Wrestling defeated to win the vacant title in a Two-out-of-three falls match at TakeOver: New York during WrestleMania 35 weekend.
Since losing that match, Undisputed Era member Cole has maintained that he is the "uncrowned champion" as he was the man to win the first fall in New York. Naturally, Gargano gave Cole this match to shut him up.
The other top match will see NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler defend her title against Io Shirai.
Io holds a pinfall victory over the Four Horsewoman during a tag match on NXT TV but is also out for a bit of revenge after Shayna hurt her pal Kairi Sane's arm badly.

TakeOver: XXV will be held at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn and tickets for the show will be available today from 10 a.m. ET at www.ticketmaster.com.
