Two Title Matches Announced For Tonight's WWE NXT
Tag Team Titles and Cruiserweight Championship on the line
Following Saturday's NXT TakeOver: WarGames, WWE have announced two title matches will take place on tonight's episode of NXT.
Lio Rush will defend his NXT Cruiserweight Championship in one-on-one action against former champion Akira Tozawa. Both superstars wrestled one another at Survivor Series as part of a Triple Threat match with Kalisto. Champion Rush emerged victorious on this occasion.
Despite being rivals for much of 2019, Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic will team together tonight to face NXT Tag Team Champions The Undisputed ERA. Since both Superstars failed to capture the North American Championship on October 23rd edition of NXT they have seemingly become allies. They've assisted each other in brawls against The Undisputed ERA, and most recently teamed together at TakeOver on Saturday. As part of Team Ciampa, they were able to overcome tonight's opponents Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish, along with Roderick Strong and Adam Cole.
The official WWE synopsis for the contest reads:
"Keith Lee & Dominik Dijakovic were victorious over The Undisputed ERA as part of Team Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: WarGames on Saturday. Now, they’ll get a chance to dethrone NXT Tag Team Champions Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish. Can this monstrous team bring an end to Undisputed ERA’s golden prophecy, or will O’Reilly & Fish show that WarGames was a fluke? Find out on WWE NXT, live tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network!"
