Tyrus Vs. EC3 World Heavyweight Title Bout Set For NWA 75
NWA 75 set to feature World Heavyweight Champion Tyrus vs. EC3
The NWA World’s Heavyweight Title match at the upcoming NWA 75 pay per view has been set, with Champion Tyrus set to put the 10lbs of gold on the line against EC3.
EC# made his intentions clear on the latest episode of NWA Powerrr, when after successfully defending the NWA National Heavyweight Championship against ‘Thrillbilly’ Silas Mason EC3 threw down the title, vacating the belt in order to take a shot at Tyrus.
By vacating the National Heavyweight Championship, EC3’s reign with the strap comes to an end after 96 days, with the controversial Control Your Narrative leader having won the belt from Cyon at NWA 312 in April 2023.
Tyrus will be looking to extend his inaugural reign as NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship when the two clash on August 26, with Tyrus’ run with the strap being a lightning rod for controversy ever since he defeated Trevor Murdoch for the historic title in November 2022.
The NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship won’t be the only title on the line at NWA 75, with NWA World Women’s Champion Camille putting her title on the line against Natalia Markova. The dominant Kamille has reigned as champ for over 760 days, having won the title from Serena Deeb in June 2021.
