Ultimo Dragon Comments On Kazuchika Okada's NJPW Exit

The wrestling world was stunned over the last week with the news that Kazuchika Okada would be parting ways with NJPW upon the expiration of his contract with the company this month, ending a long-term spell with the promotion after years of success. 

Ultimo Dragon took to social media to talk on this topic, revealing that Okada had come to him personally to inform him about leaving NJPW, though he only had positive things to say about his future in the business going forwards. 

“Okada came yesterday to meet me to let me know he is leaving New Japan. Ever since he came to Toryumon when he was 15 years old, he has always been very humble. Every time he has had an important event in his life, he always lets me know. Although he hasn’t decided yet, I’m sure he will continue to be a superstar wherever he goes. But not only that, I know he will never change and will continue to be the great man he is.”

Okada’s future is currently uncertain, though reports have indicated that both AEW and WWE will be fighting to sign him to a deal.
