Unadvertised Top WWE Star Backstage At Saturday Night's Main Event

Could a top WWE star be set to make a surprise appearance at Saturday Night's Main Event?

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider and Dr Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda, CM Punk is backstage at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. The venue is hosting the reboot of Saturday Night's Main Event.

Featherstone noted that CM Punk is not currently scheduled to make an appearance during the broadcast of Saturday Night's Main Event but that could change. Punk hinted during CFFC commentary on Friday night that he "might do commentary" with Jesse Ventura at SNME. Ventura is scheduled to be at the announce table during the final match at Saturday Night's Main Event and he will also host the show along with Joe Tessitore.

WWE Saturday Night's Main Event will air on NBC in the United States and on WWE's YouTube channel in the United Kingdom. The card for the show is as follows:
