Update On Adam Cole's Status For AEW WrestleDream

Latest on Adam Cole's status for AEW WrestleDream

All Elite Wrestling may be forced to change one of the matches planned for the WrestleDream pay-per-view on October 1.

Adam Cole and MJF are currently scheduled to defend the ROH World Tag Team Championships against Vincent and Dutch of The Righteous at WrestleDream. Adam Cole is currently dealing with an injury, though, having landed awkwardly on his foot while jumping from the ring to the floor at Dynamite Grand Slam. Cole was taken to hospital following the incident and left on crutches.

Adam Cole and MJF are scheduled to cut a promo on Wednesday night's episode of AEW Dynamite. This will likely reveal Cole's status for October 1 and he may miss out on the show as Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez both expressed doubt on Cole wrestling at WrestleDream. Both Alvarez and Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio they don't think Cole will be able to return from injury in time for Sunday.

How long exactly Cole will be out of action is unknown but he will be back in the ring by mid-November. A match was set up over the weekend for Cole to face Chris Danger (DenkOps) at Deadlock Pro Wrestling's event on November 12.
