Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo has spoken after his recent injury scare, with the WWE NXT giving an update on his condition.

Lorenzo was stretchered out of an NXT event in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada on October 16, with it feared that Stacks had suffered a concussion. The injury occurred either after a back body drop from the ring to the floor, or from a separate incident in the same match where Lorenzo appeared to hit his head off the ring barricade.

Lorenzo recently took to Instagram to share several updates, first showing off his neck brace from a hospital bed complete with the caption “Doc was concerned about my ‘attitude. Told 'em it's a pre-existing condition. The show goes on.”

Stacks also posted a gym selfie, without the neck brace, noting that he was ‘back to the grind’.

The BirthRight member has been part of NXT since early 2022, first as a member of Tony D’Angelo’s Family, before joining BirthRight in 2026 after a brief singles run. In NXT, Lorenzo is a one-time Heritage Cup winner, and two-time NXT Tag Team Champion with Tony D’Angleo. Lorenzo is also a former TNA International Champion.
