Vince McMahon remains a major shareholder in TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of WWE and UFC, even if he is no longer involved in the day-to-day running of the pro wrestling organisation.
McMahon resigned as TKO Executive Chairman in January 2024 after Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, accused him of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and physical and emotional abuse. McMahon has sold a substantial amount of his TKO shares since then but he still owned 8,021,405 shares as of September 30, 2024, and there have been no indications that he has sold his remaining stock.
McMahon's ownership stake in TKO has fallen since February 2025 following TKO's acquisition of Professional Bull Riders, On Location, and IMG from Endeavor in an all-stock transaction. The movement of assets increased Endeavor's (now WME Group) ownership stake in TKO to 61 per cent and caused McMahon's to fall to 4.06 per cent, Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics has estimated. McMahon's remaining equity in TKO is valued at around $1 billion.
Based on their latest filings, other members of the McMahon family continue to own substantial stock in TKO Group Holdings. Stephanie McMahon is estimated to own 0.98 per cent of TKO stock, while Linda McMahon owns 0.29 per cent of the company. Paul "Triple H" Levesque is estimated to own approximately 0.02 per cent of TKO.
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has been awarded TKO stock since joining the company's board of directors in January 2024. Johnson is estimated to own 0.16 per cent of the company.
According to reports, Vince McMahon still occasionally watches WWE TV even though he is no longer the head of WWE creative. The 79-year-old still has a number of legal troubles as Janel Grant's lawsuit against him, John Laurinaitis, and WWE remains ongoing. McMahon is also a defendant in the lawsuit filed by former WWE ring boys in late 2024.
